Adrian Chorley was a landscape painter and etcher, draughtsman and printmaker.   He was born at East Bergholt, Suffolk on 25th April 1906. He was educated at St Paul’s School, Chorley and studied Art at the Byam Shaw School from 1924 to1927 and at the Royal College of Art where he studied etching.  He lived in London and later at Edenbridge and exhibited his work at Walker Art Gallery Liverpool, the New English Art Club, the Royal Academy, the Royal Institute, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters , the Royal Society of British Artists and at the Paris Salon.
