painter of river and coastal scenes. He exhibited his work at the Royal
Academy, the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Hibernian Academy, the
Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, the
Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Arthur Tooth and Sons Gallery, Walker Art
Gallery Liverpool and the Dudley Gallery, where 128 of his pictures were
shown. He lived at Richmond in Surrey
