J Henry Drage was a landscape and figure painter.  He lived in Croydon in 1882 and Eastbourne in 1901.  He exhibited his work at the Royal Academy;  the Royal Institute; Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool; Manchester City Art Gallery and the New Gallery.
