Walter Goldsmith was a landscape painter who lived at Maidenhead
and worked on the Thames. He exhibition from 1880 at the Royal Society
of Artists Birmingham, the Dudley Gallery, the Glasgow Institute of the Fine
Arts, Walker Art Gallery Liverpool, Manchester City Art Gallery, the Royal
Academy, the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Hibernian Academy, the
Royal Institute and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters. Examples of his work are in the Maidenhead Library
and Reading Art Gallery.
