Marjorie
Hawke was a draughtswoman and painter in oil.
She was born in London and studied at Heatherley’s, the Central School
of Arts and Crafts and the Westminster School of Art, under Bernard Meninsky.
She exhibited at the London Group, the Leicester Galleries and O’Hana, with
solo shows at Bear Lane Gallery, Oxford and the Rotunda Gallery. She also exhibited in Greece, France and
Italy. She lived in London and her work is in many private collections in
Britain and abroad.
